Short version: 六爻算 BTC has no accounts and no server-side database. We do not ask for your name, email, or wallet. Your hexagram is generated in your browser. We use privacy-respecting analytics and third-party advertising, described below.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Kelvin Kwong ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the website liuyao-btc.com and its features (the "Service"). For questions, contact kelvin6365@gmail.com.
2. Information we do NOT collect
No account registration, login, name, or email address.
No wallet address, private keys, or financial account information.
No server-side storage of your questions or hexagram results — readings are computed in your browser.
3. Information processed automatically
When you visit, the following may be processed:
Local storage: a single preference key (liuyao_lang) storing your chosen language, kept in your browser. It is not sent to us and you can clear it anytime via your browser.
Analytics: we use usage analytics (which may include Google Analytics and OpenPanel) to understand aggregate, anonymised behaviour — e.g. page views, which buttons are clicked, and how far into the coin-toss flow visitors get. This may involve cookies or similar identifiers and limited technical data such as approximate region, device type, browser, and referring page. We do not use this to identify you personally.
Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) may process standard request data (IP address, timestamp, user agent) to serve and secure the site.
Price data: Bitcoin price is fetched directly by your browser from third-party public APIs (e.g. Binance, Coinbase, CoinGecko). Those requests are subject to those providers' own policies.
4. Advertising
The Service displays ads served by A-ADS and possibly other third-party networks. These networks may set cookies or collect device and usage data to serve and measure ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies, over which we have no control. We do not share any personal information with advertisers. A-ADS is a crypto-focused, privacy-oriented network; see its policy at a-ads.com.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
Where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies and analytics, and on our legitimate interests for security and basic, privacy-respecting measurement. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies / using browser controls or an ad/tracker blocker.
6. Your choices & rights
Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage.
Use a tracker/ad blocker — the Service still works if ads or analytics are blocked.
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we hold almost no personal data ourselves, most requests should be directed to the third-party providers named above; you may also contact us at kelvin6365@gmail.com.
7. Data retention
We do not maintain our own database of visitors. Analytics and hosting providers retain data according to their own retention schedules. Your language preference persists in your browser until you clear it.
8. Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. International transfers
The Service and its providers may process data in countries other than your own. By using the Service you acknowledge such transfers, subject to the safeguards applied by those providers.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
